I Haven't been Everywhere But It's On My List
Maja, the Travelling Gypsy
The blog is back due to popular demand (yes my momma made me do it).
I’m slightly older, but no wiser, and this time the pressures and constraints of society mean that unless I finally fulfill my dream of marrying a Russian mafioso who will finance my endless world travel, the likelihood of me taking another year off is minimal.
This does not stop me, however, from taking as many mini gypsy breaks as my holiday ration and bank account will let me, and why not share some of my most exciting adventures with my extensive fan base? (And yes by that I mean my mother.)

So it was our first excursion day (yeay!) and we were branching out east into the West Bank. It can be a bit confusing that it's the West Bank when it's the Eastern most area of Israel, but it's to do with the Jordan river- the whole area is west of the Jordan river...
Jerusalem the holy land
So our first day in Jerusalem was dedicated of course to the Holy City itself. We had organised a tour guide which would take us around the Holy City and teach us everything we need to know. Now I am usually used to DIY-ing in these situations and both Steffi and I...
Shalom Israel (finally!)
It all started on my trip to Latin America. To give you a bit of background, young Israelis have to serve three years of army (men and women) and so many of them when they finish the army they decide to go travelling for a year, and a large number of them choose to go...
Patpong market and our last night in Bangkok
So as we were forced away from our amazing hotel and headed to the airport for our flight back to Bangkok, we found consolation in the fact that we had one more fun night in the capital ahead of us. Random fact: at the airports of Thailand Buddhist monks get VIP...
